Why Am I Losing Lashes the Day After My Fill?

If you’ve ever noticed some of your lash extensions falling out the day after your fill, you’re not alone. And I get it—it’s frustrating! As a self-proclaimed stomach and side sleeper myself, I understand the worry.

But here's the thing: getting lashes is all about making life easier, not about changing everything you do to accommodate them. Seriously, that’s counterintuitive!

The only extra steps should be washing and brushing them, not rethinking how you sleep or move.

....Now, unless you’re rubbing, rolling, or pulling your lashes (basically doing something that mechanically removes them), there’s no way you could cause your own lashes to come off within even three days. I don’t care if you drenched them in oil!

If they’re applied properly, it takes time for them to naturally shed. Sure, things like sleeping on your stomach, rubbing your eyes, or skipping your regular lash care can affect retention over time. That’s when you might notice your lashes not lasting the full 3 weeks and needing a fill a little sooner, like at 1.5 weeks, or spotting a few gaps at the 2-week mark. But even then, they shouldn’t be falling out the day after your fill, as long as the lashes were applied properly.

If you’re losing lashes too quickly, it might be time to consider finding a new lash artist that works best for you, giving you results you love. Lots of Lashes in Murfreesboro. TN would love to give it a shot!
